What we never collect

The files you open in PatternScouts software — spreadsheets, reports, anything you analyse — are processed on your own computer. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.

What we collect

• When you buy: your name, email address, mobile number, the plan you chose and the UPI transaction ID you enter.
• When you activate: your key, a fingerprint of the computer it is activated on (so a key works only on the computers it covers), the computer's name and the software version.
• When you write to us: what you put in the message and your contact details.
• On this website: only what you type into a form. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To confirm your payment, send and manage your key, deliver the software and its updates, answer your messages, and keep keys from being shared beyond what a plan allows. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

Licence and purchase records are stored with our database provider (Supabase) in its Mumbai, India region, and in our own records. Payments are made directly between your UPI app and our bank account; we never see your UPI PIN or bank details.

How long we keep it

For as long as your licence is active, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep purchase records.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it once it is no longer needed for your licence or by law. Write to patternscoutsinfo@gmail.com.
